Accelerating Industrial Safety DX with AI Safety Solution 'Guardian-Alpha'

Mithril (CEO Jeong-hyun Cho), an AI technology specialist, signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with EchoIT (CEO Seong-ho Hong), an IT services company, to launch a joint business initiative for AI-driven Industrial Safety Digital Transformation (DX).

The signing ceremony took place on January 23 at EchoIT’s headquarters. The strategic partnership combines Mithril's vision and multimodal AI technology tailored for industrial sites with EchoIT's expertise in enterprise IT and SAP-based system integration, aiming to upgrade safety management on the shop floor. Under the agreement, both companies will collaborate on:

  • Executing joint business initiatives for industrial safety AI solutions

  • Expanding enterprise IT integration for Mithril’s industrial safety AI solution, Guardian-Alpha

  • Linking Guardian-Alpha with SAP-based AX (AI Transformation) and DX systems

  • Jointly exploring domestic and international markets and executing marketing strategies

This collaboration focuses on the commercial viability and operational feasibility of practical AI safety technologies, aiming beyond simple tech adoption to build an industrial safety DX model that transforms shop-floor operations.

Mithril has developed and operated field-proven AI safety solutions that analyze worker behavior, hazardous situations, and environmental context using real-world data from high-risk industrial sites. Through this partnership, Mithril plans to connect its core technologies directly with enterprise systems, expanding industrial safety AI from site-level monitoring to organizational and enterprise-wide frameworks.

"This MOU marks a turning point where industrial safety AI evolves beyond simple monitoring into a core enterprise operating system," said Jeong-hyun Cho, CEO of Mithril. "In partnership with EchoIT, we will enhance 'Guardian-Alpha' into a practical, field-centric safety management platform and build an industrial safety AI model capable of proactive risk management."

Seong-ho Hong, CEO of EchoIT, stated, "Industrial safety AI yields lasting results only when integrated across the entire enterprise operating system, rather than operating as a standalone solution. Centering on Mithril's AI technology, we will expand this into a differentiated industrial safety AI platform by integrating it with enterprise IT and SAP systems."

Both companies plan to phase in AI-based DX and AX collaboration models focused on safety, accelerating joint business efforts across high-risk industries such as manufacturing, construction, and heavy plant operations.
