Mithril Showcases AI for Semiconductor and Display Equipment at K-Display

Optima Alpha is a solution that analyzes data generated by semiconductor and display equipment to support equipment control, production efficiency, and quality management. Having completed proof of concept (PoC) in the semiconductor field, Mithril is currently finalizing contracts to integrate AI into actual mass-production equipment. The company is also conducting additional PoC testing with a global factory automation (FA) firm.
Considering the distinct data structures and hardware control methods of different equipment, Mithril establishes dedicated client teams to offer customized system integration (SI). Its strategy is to develop AI features tailored to each equipment's control environment and extend these services into ongoing maintenance and repair operations.
Guardian Alpha is a solution that detects site hazards by analyzing data from factory CCTV cameras and sensors. It detects unequipped personal protective gear (helmets, safety shoes, safety belts), worker falls, collapse, forklift collision hazards, unauthorized area entry, and incidents like fire, smoke, or gas leaks. When a hazard occurs, it triggers speakers, warning lights, and equipment control devices while sending an alert to the administrator’s screen. It also logs detection and response histories before and after accidents.
Both products feature Mithril’s under-development "Nenya sVLA" AI model, which pairs a single AI core with lightweight adapters that add industry-specific features. Mithril plans to launch this platform in 2027. Mithril will also host live AI demonstrations simulating semiconductor and display production environments at its exhibition booth.
