Industrial-specialized AI company MITHRIL announced that it has selected Mirae Asset Securities as the lead manager for its initial public offering (IPO) and has begun preparations for listing.

Mithril signed an IPO underwriting agreement with Mirae Asset Securities and plans to sequentially proceed with related procedures, including enhancing corporate value, establishing listing strategies, and preparing for preliminary review.

Mithril is driving AI transformation (AX) businesses by applying AI technology to industrial equipment and field operations. Its flagship solutions include "Optima Alpha," a manufacturing AX solution that integrates AI into semiconductor and display process equipment, and "Guardian Alpha," a safety AI solution that analyzes hazardous conditions at industrial sites.

Mithril operates Guardian Alpha as an AI vision-based safety solution applicable to various industrial fields such as manufacturing, construction, and smart cities.

According to the company, Optima Alpha has completed Proof of Concept (PoC) testing in the semiconductor industry and is currently pursuing a main contract to implement embedded AI into mass-production equipment. The company added that a new PoC is also underway with a global Factory Automation (FA) firm.

Guardian Alpha uses CCTV and sensor data to analyze high-risk situations at industrial sites—including failure to wear safety gear, falls and collapses, unauthorized entry into hazardous zones, forklift collision risks, and fire or smoke hazards—and connects these insights directly to on-site warnings and manager notifications.

Mithril is expanding both its manufacturing AX and industrial safety AI businesses based on its proprietary "Nenya sVLA (Specialized Vision-Language-Action)" model under development. The company explained that Nenya is an industry-specialized model designed to understand contextual field situations using video, sensor, process, and operational data.

Going forward, the company plans to broaden its coverage to a wider range of sectors, including semiconductors and displays.

A Mithril representative stated, "Mithril aims to be a practical industrial AI company that improves productivity, quality, and safety by applying AI technology directly to real equipment and field operations. With the selection of Mirae Asset Securities as our lead IPO underwriter, we will strengthen our business competitiveness and systematically prepare for our public listing."
