Mithril Applies Industrial Safety AI ‘Guardian-Alpha’ to Key Sampyo Industry Plants
Mithril (CEO Jeong-hyun Cho), an artificial intelligence (AI) solution provider specializing in industrial safety, announced on the 16th that it has deployed its AI safety system, 'Guardian-Alpha AI,' across four major mortar plants operated by Sampyo Industry—located in Incheon, Gimhae, Sejong, and Hwaseong—to strengthen site safety management.
Sampyo Group’s adoption of Guardian-Alpha AI is designed to prevent industrial accidents and enhance on-site safety standards.
Guardian-Alpha AI is Mithril's proprietary industrial safety solution that combines real-time video analytics with large language models (LLMs) to automatically detect hazards and monitor compliance with safety protocols in real time.
Key capabilities of the system include:
Real-time Hazard Detection: Sends immediate alerts to plant managers if workers fail to wear required protective equipment (e.g., hard hats, harnesses, safety hooks) or engage in solo work in designated two-person operational zones.
Integrated Safety Control: Links warnings directly with facility controls, access management, and other preventive protocols to mitigate accidents.
Proximity Collision Warning: Uses AI to track and calculate the real-time movement paths of heavy equipment and personnel, predicting collision risks and sounding emergency alerts when necessary.
